MeatsOfRage,

Left right top bottom, like how we read. You can see a pretty linear evolution in the style.

MeatsOfRage,

The Japanese artist Hokusai and his art. The last painting is quite famous but most of us haven’t seen the pieces that helped him develop his style along the way.

MeatsOfRage,

Yea but this is in English made for an English community. It’s pretty safe to assume.

MeatsOfRage, (edited )

I toss pizza crust. Useless log. Where does that stand? I’ll accept down votes as whole hearted agreement, brothers in down with crust movement.

MeatsOfRage, (edited )

I’ll take it. Useless carb sticks, no meat no cheese, what are we even doing here.

MeatsOfRage,

And, oh yeah, three of the airplane engines burned out

And we went into a tailspin and crashed into a hillside

And the plane exploded in a giant fireball and everybody died

Except for me

You know why?

'Cause I had my tray table up

And my seat back in the full upright position

Had my tray table up

And my seat back in the full upright position

MeatsOfRage,

I didn’t have good gaming gear at the time so I was all in on streaming. Stadia, GeForce now, xcloud, even moonlight on hosted locally with Gamestream. Stadia was hands down the smoothest cloud gaming of all the options I tried. Moving between TV and phone was so quick, no noticeable lag at all and constant 4k.

It’s too bad their business model sucked. Most of the other game streamers have caught up now but I always wished they would have just somehow provided their tech to other services.

Is there an easy way to stream full bluray disc rips with menus and features over the network to my TV

Most of my collection is just the movie rips of just the video that play fine in Plex or Jellyfin. I’ve got a couple of full disc rips though that have the menus and features and all just like you would if you put the disc in. I can open these in VLC on my computer by choosing the folder....

[OC] Shipwreck of Hephaestus (lemmy.world)

We were traveling through Malta in 2018 when I came across this. According to the locals it had crashed up on shore about a month prior. They didn’t know what to do so they tied it off until they could come up with a solution. My personal favorite of the photos I took. The two guys below were exploring the ship. Thought it...

LPT: If you're ever in a conversation circle at a social function, keep an eye out for people trying to get in and get them up to speed

This feels like a common courtesy I don’t see enough, particularly the second point. In a conversation circle, always try to keep your side vision open to people trying to find their way in. It can be awkward to try and find your own way in so giving them a spot tells them they’re included then drop a quick brief on the...

MeatsOfRage,

Yea I feel like this post has some real 2014 energy. There are much bigger problems in the industry right now. 2K absolutely loading their titles with MTX and gambling, the whole mobile industry digging into people’s life savings, Microsoft absolutely eviscerating good studios.

MeatsOfRage,

Yea I saw this exact trailer a few months ago

MeatsOfRage,

Literally every comment is praising the quality of the short except yours. If you don’t want the shit stirred, don’t stir the shit.

MeatsOfRage,

Cool as hell

Game recommendations: Passive / Turn Based + Portrait Orientation + No IAP (or at least minimally invasive)

I’m looking for some game recommendations. I feel like a ton of these games exist but they’re riddled with IAP. I don’t mind paying a little to buy the game. I have the play pass but so many of these games are active involvement and landscape orientation. I like to have an extra hand free and landscape requires both hands...

MeatsOfRage,

Looks like they’re sticking with naming the movies after song titles
