Bought this “broken” DS in Feb for $30. All it needed was a $10 battery (which I figured out in May). Minorly disappointed. Was hoping for a more involved repair.

Anyone using the SwiftUI SubscriptionStoreView with the “Restore Subscription" button?

i.e.

SubscriptionStoreView(…)
.storeButton(.visible, for: .restorePurchases)

Does the resulting "Restore Subscription" button in the UI, uh… work? For anyone?

I can't get it to do anything. Prompts for password, then does nothing, no IAP SwiftUI callbacks are called, and nothing is delivered to Transaction.updates.

@marcoarment This is very interesting because I'm in the middle of asking for help on the RevenueCat forums for something similar.

I'm attempting to switch from a paywall that I built to one of theirs that is generated for me by them. My new paywall is working great, except the restore button doesn't seem to be doing anything.

I just got a photos memory that showed it was one year ago that this arrived.

As someone who did not enjoy (or finish) Breath of the Wild I was really unsure if I was making a mistake buying this to play Tears of the Kingdom.

I ended up loving it and sinking an absurd amount of hours into it before finishing the main story.

@alexsereno Couldn't really put my finger on it. Things that annoyed me they fixed in TotK. Strangely, other things that annoyed me such as 5 billion shrines and weapons breaking didn't bother me at all in TotK (where I finished all shrines).

Wind Waker is one of my all time favorites.

When I look at videos of what people created in tears of the kingdom, it felt like I was looking at another game. The only things I constructed were the jankiest solutions to shrines.

I took some inspiration from Apple Weather in adding an "Hourly Forecast" section to @PleaseDontRain , but I didn't like how it didn't have a way to tell at a glance if you're looking at data for tomorrow.

This was my approach to it.

@Joekw I actually have been going back on forth on that. My thinking was that the two sections not being balanced makes them stand out and immediately apparent they are different.

But the other part of me thinks all the same might look nice.

Some personal news… I accepted a new job as a helpdesk technician 😁. It’s gonna be my first tech job and I could not be happier and more excited! I’ve enjoyed my current job but have been wanting to make a change for a while. I think this will also free up much more time for my apps like @bridges and personal projects. So pumped for the future 👊

Honestly had a really weird introduction to my new iPad Pro. After the hour long data transfer was complete I tried using it but it was like walking through quicksand. Games were practically unplayable and video looked terrible.

I figured it was because it was still downloading and installing a ton of apps but even after that appeared done it was still doing it.

After a power cycle it’s running like a champ now. This screen is so gorgeous.
