That’s sort of my line of thinking. Had some good results with a off-the-shelf rub for some lamb shanks last week, and will probably be looking at some sort of Peri-peri marinade/sauce/rub type thing.
I go on spurts of reading, and then not reading for a bit.
I used to always think that I didn’t like reading, but I’ve now learned that I don’t like reading Fiction, but really like reading Non-Fiction. I think because when you are at school, most of the prescribed reading is Fiction, I assumed I hated reading in general.
Now I’ll read a handful of books a year, mostly in a row, then take a break for a bit until something piques my interest.
Next question - Anyone have some experience between 300Mbps vs Gigabit Fibre? Any noticeable difference? It’s just the two of us (though we have some family coming over over xmas), so I don’t think we generate that much traffic.
I’ve had previous employers that talk the talk, but don’t really walk the walk when it comes to development.
My current employers (especially my manager) is really good about self development. As long as I outline what I want to do and why, I feel they truly support me learning new skills.
After looking at them for a while, and waiting to see if they’d have some sales during Black Friday, went and pulled the trigger on a Weber Q.
Tried it for the first time yesterday, making some slow cooked lamb shanks. Never cooked lamb before, and tbh only have ever had lamb a handful of times. Came out better than expected!
Between yourself and Dave, I’m getting constant reminders to stop procrastinating and get my HA setup. Bought all the kit, but it’s just been sitting for a few months now 😂
Question for those that have been paying closer attention to this world cup - But there was a passage of play in the 1st half where the All Blacks had like 3~4 consecutive offloads (albeit they had a penalty advantage).
Have they been playing this freely the entire world cup?
Thats actually a really interesting proposition with the Android syncing etc. Will need to do some research / keep that in mind for when I really find a need for it.
I have no idea how Sanitarium thought what they were doing was ok and that they would get away with it after the supermarket investigation by comcom and the cost of living crisis being the biggest election issue.
