NoRamyunForYou,

That’s sort of my line of thinking. Had some good results with a off-the-shelf rub for some lamb shanks last week, and will probably be looking at some sort of Peri-peri marinade/sauce/rub type thing.

Any advice on how to cook on the BBQ?

NoRamyunForYou,

Anyone got any recommendations for some BBQ Chicken recipes? Any advice is also welcomed :)

NoRamyunForYou,

I go on spurts of reading, and then not reading for a bit.

I used to always think that I didn’t like reading, but I’ve now learned that I don’t like reading Fiction, but really like reading Non-Fiction. I think because when you are at school, most of the prescribed reading is Fiction, I assumed I hated reading in general.

Now I’ll read a handful of books a year, mostly in a row, then take a break for a bit until something piques my interest.

NoRamyunForYou,

Yuss!!! Finally got Fiber lol.

Next question - Anyone have some experience between 300Mbps vs Gigabit Fibre? Any noticeable difference? It’s just the two of us (though we have some family coming over over xmas), so I don’t think we generate that much traffic.

NoRamyunForYou,

I’ve had previous employers that talk the talk, but don’t really walk the walk when it comes to development.

My current employers (especially my manager) is really good about self development. As long as I outline what I want to do and why, I feel they truly support me learning new skills.

It’s refreshing to be in this situation :)

NoRamyunForYou,

I just hate how its so predictably flip flop everytime the government changes on so many things. Govt X does something, next Govt Y reverses it etc.

Havent really done much deeper thinking into it, which I probably should, but its getting quite old…

NoRamyunForYou,

After looking at them for a while, and waiting to see if they’d have some sales during Black Friday, went and pulled the trigger on a Weber Q.

Tried it for the first time yesterday, making some slow cooked lamb shanks. Never cooked lamb before, and tbh only have ever had lamb a handful of times. Came out better than expected!

NoRamyunForYou,

I saw this goal on socials this morning and thought “wow what a goal” - didn’t realise it was in the 2nd minute of the game!

NoRamyunForYou,

😂😂 Any Black Friday Deals that you’ve been eyeing up?

NoRamyunForYou,

Finally made some real progress in getting connected to fibre - They started laying the micro-duct for it :)

NoRamyunForYou,

Ooh I remember when we used to get interns. Was sort of like the zoo - seeing all them come through. I thought it used to break the monotony a bit :)

NoRamyunForYou,

Between yourself and Dave, I’m getting constant reminders to stop procrastinating and get my HA setup. Bought all the kit, but it’s just been sitting for a few months now 😂

NoRamyunForYou,

Up in Auckland - Theres been a few peaks of sun today. I walked out into the garden just now, and its pretty muggy!

NoRamyunForYou,

Wow. Didn’t come off, but what a cross kick

NoRamyunForYou,

A bit of a struggle trying to watch live sports without fibre 😂

NoRamyunForYou,

Question for those that have been paying closer attention to this world cup - But there was a passage of play in the 1st half where the All Blacks had like 3~4 consecutive offloads (albeit they had a penalty advantage).

Have they been playing this freely the entire world cup?

NoRamyunForYou,

Similar here - This is actually the first Full match I’ve watched this world cup. Pretty stress free experience :)

Honestly doesn’t feel like a World Cup Knock Out Game.

NoRamyunForYou,

Hmm just did some reading into Kobo, they look pretty good!

NoRamyunForYou,

Thats actually a really interesting proposition with the Android syncing etc. Will need to do some research / keep that in mind for when I really find a need for it.

NoRamyunForYou,

Looking to get a new WiFi Mesh system, and debating between a few options. Would love to hear some feedback/thoughts from people around them.

Currently been looking at the Netgear Orbi RBK760S, Orbi RBK852 or TP-Link Deco XE75.

We’ll be on just normal fibre. Could potentially upgrade to Gigabit Fibre in the near future, but I don’t see us going for Hyperfibre anytime soon.

NoRamyunForYou,

Got a little bit of a headcold, though it doesn’t seem to be anything too major.

Was planning to plant a few vege seedlings in the garden tomorrow, but it seems it’s going to be a pretty wet weekend up here in Akl.

NoRamyunForYou,

Good weekend for a couple of kiwi sports that I follow closely :)

NoRamyunForYou,

Geez, did a bit of digging/mixing and all that with a mask on, and it was pretty hard! Better continuing using one when I first open up the bags.

NoRamyunForYou,

Makes it sound really scary. Better do a lil bit more research as to actual risk levels etc.
