Since the lockdown, many companies allowed their employees to stay at home. Many of them even working while traveling. Are you one of them? And would it be something for you?
Of course. There are so many features of the modern web that iโd never give up (speed, security ,accessibility, apiโs [that oneโs ironic nowadays], dev tools, webgl,โฆ).
Like you said, a great solution would be to combine those newer and older elements in order to create a great web for all. I think that the fediverse is already a great step into the right direction.
I see i can find a foss version on f-droid, and thatโs something not a lot of social networks can have, i donโt really like all the crypto bullshit and ads testing theyโve been up to lately, but still looks better to me compared to what Reddit have done lately or what other platforms have done in these yearsโฆ...
