So, can I have a show of hands, who still plays #AlterAeon here? I've heard of it for sometime, but only started playing it yesterday to get myself into the world of MUDS to see if I really like that style of game. Seems I do. Any other MUDs people want to recommend, with as less combat as possible, do reply here. I can't wait till I can start playing ClokMud sounds really awesome
@Rachelk I play Erion. It's technically possible to play the game without combat at all, but even when you do fight something, you can use autoskill to automatically cast a certain spell every few seconds. The world is big, but not overwhelmingly so; there's a command to run to a specific area; there's lots of crafting and missions, and there are 11 classes, with each character having 2 classes that can level together. It's easier than Alter Aeon, but that's part of why I like it. AA gets very grindy and tedious at some point.
Okay to all you people interested in home automation, I've got a loaded question for you. How would I go about being able to ask my Smart speaker whether it be Google or Amazon, what the temperature is in each room? I remember hearing that someone had this in their home, but Never heard how it was set up. Amazing what some blind people can accomplish, but I definitely wouldn't have a clue. There's not much that really interests me in a home automation, because I don't use lights most of the time, and I'm happy to play my music from my current sources, but I would have always loved to be able to get my Smart speakers to tell me the temperature of each room. Now that would be amazing! Would this be quite costly to do that sing alone? thank you very much in advance for any advice.
@Rachelk@Fragglemuppet the Apple HomePod and HomePod mini have temperature and humidity sensors. You can ask “Siri, what’s the temperature in the living room?” etc. I’m not sure about other devices
#gaming perhaps an extremely obvious observation about #manamon: when next starting from scratch, try and get all my creatures up to high levels like really high levels as soon as I can. I'm walking through that path before the tunnel after the first stadium, and while my initial manamon is quite advanced now at level 20, I've still got a couple that are only at level five. I'm learning so much though. This requires skill and patience.
In other news, who here plays #Manamon? I heard about it before, but didn't think I'd be interested. However, it seems that since I've started playing I'm addicted, and will be going to buy the game right this minute! It's so cool! I don't know why it's so addicting, but it seems to be.

So it seems that I get my sound professional binaural microphones this coming Monday. That was quick! Probably why postage was so expensive. Anyway, I'm wondering, has anyone been able to use these for recording on their iPhone with the 3.5 to the lightning cable adapter of which I have a couple of? I'm guessing probably not but worth asking. I am excited to get that in my zoom recorder. I'll be able to go out and do all sorts of nature recordings among ev other things, perhaps Podcasts in the future.
@Rachelk No, the microphone input on that lightning adaptor is in the wrong place, and is only mono. If you try that, your phone will just think the microphones are headphones. The Ambeo headset is pretty cheap on Amazon most of the time, if you can find it.

After a few drinks, the fifth is diminished, and G is out flat. F comes in and tries to augment the situation, but is not sharp enough. D comes in and heads for the bathroom, saying, "Excuse me; I'll just be a second." Then A comes in, but the bartender is not convinced that this relative of C is not a minor. Then the bartender notices B-flat hiding at the end of the bar and says, "Get out! You're the seventh minor I've found in this bar tonight." E-flat comes back the next night in a three-piece suit with nicely shined shoes. The bartender says, "You're looking sharp tonight.
Come on in, this could be a major development." Sure enough, E-flat soon takes off his suit and everything else, and is au natural. Eventually C sobers up and realizes in horror that he's under a rest. C is brought to trial, found guilty of contributing to the diminution of a minor, and is sentenced to 10 years of D.S. without Coda at an upscale correctional facility.
So does anyone know if we can save the photo that we capture with #bemyAI? It only gives me the option to copy, but then when I copy it, it doesn't give me the option to paste it anywhere, like on Facebook etc. How can we keep the image, or save it to our camera roll? Does anyone know
@ppatel Thanks for clarifying. If you click on chat more, there is the option in the list at the start to copy, if you swipe down on the image that you sent, but you seem to have clarified that there is indeed no way to save the photo at the moment. Thanks for that. Someone Bumstead me and told us we could do it.

Sadly, their faces are blurred out for privacy reasons, but this is the closest I've ever heard my late Nanna been described: The picture shows an elderly woman sitting in a blue armchair. Her face is obscured by a brown rectangle, probably for privacy. She has curly white hair and is wearing a dark blazer and black pants. Her hands are resting on her lap and she is wearing a watch on her left wrist. She is wearing beige compression socks. To her left, there is a red walker. On the wall behind her, there is a calendar with a picture of a sunset and a note above it that reads "Happy 91st Birthday Mum Nana XXXX". @Rachelk haven't used it in a while, but mp3 direct cut might be good. GoldWave will re-encode the file whereas MP3DC will just rewrite the headers and allow you to edit the mp3 directly. This cuts down on processing time and also means you aren't losing quality every time you load and save the file.
Anyone tried the newly updated #DiceWorld yet? I just played one of the new funny characters. Shame that Trump has gone, but the character I played sounds really funny. We still can't play ballot with the characters though. This is what I was looking forward to the most. Anyway! I like the new interface.
