We already know from Pudding Rob’s actions in Florida that these kind of laws are going to be used to:
Allow the executive or legislative branches to override the judiciary, thereby functionally eliminating the separation of powers
Override democracy by removing duly elected officials at the sole discretion of one person (Florida), or by another unelected body (Georgia)
Create a legal fiefdom where the executive or legislative branches can determine the outcome of judicial matters through sheer fiat by removing prosecutors who do not align with their intended outcomes, and then hand selecting those who do
Correct, which is exactly the same thing the Zionist Federation of Germany did during WWII. They sold out their own people in order to keep much of their assets while beginning the process of annexing British Mandatory Palestine.

They were under federal observation for over a decade because they were responsible for multiple questionable deaths.
A ton of the force quit because they didn’t want to get vaccinated during COVID.
Recently they had a Trump flag with a Nazi symbol on it in one of their breakrooms that nobody took down.
The list goes on and on. They need to dissolve the police union in Seattle entirely, and set a precedent. I’m not anti-police, but I am over their whiney bullshit and completely unethical behavior. Seriously, fuck Seattle PD.
As a matter of technicality, you are both legally and historically illiterate. Based on this argument a trial court would have to rule on whether every single presidential candidate was over the age of 35, and a natural born citizen in order to qualify for office. That is OBVIOUSLY not the case as those provisions are self-executing. It is also obvious that based on the plain language of the constitution that the 14th Ammendment is self-executing as well. It is another LEGALLY STIPULATED PRECONDITION OF ELIGIBILITY FOR OFFICE.
However, many members of the current Supreme Court have made it clear that they consider both law and precedent to be entirely permeable, despite their strongly worded assertions to the contrary. So because of that, I also expect them to put forth some novel legal theory as to why they must go against their own publicly stated legal philosophies to allow Trump to stay on the ballot, history and precedent be damned.
The core of Abrahamic religion is based around an in-group / out-group ideology. When you dove-tail off that premise it is clear that Abrahamic religion uses labelism such as “evil” or “from the devil” in order to obfuscate their suppression and opression of the out-group.
This was my initial reaction as well, but now I’m not so sure. Somebody has to be the public example, and fight this broken system. This has gotten a large amount of national media exposure, and that is ultimately what mobilizes voters. She also seems willing to suffer for her convictions, which is more than most people can say.
I think I am developing dementia from how much stupid bullshit has been involuntarily implanted in my brain over the last 8-ish years of politics in the United States. I honestly think I am dumber and more apathetic than I was before 2016, and that is scary because I actually do give a shit about the progression of our species.
What a stupid fucking argument. Gun violence is a sheer numbers game. The ease of access and use of firearms is a massive problem, and when you combine that with the serious socio-economic/political problems in this country that is how you end up with this on-going violence.
Yeah, there are other ways for people to commit violence such as the examples you provided, but they aren’t used at the same scale or with the same frequency. Why? Well, partly because building a bomb is a lot more complicated than buying a gun. Does it still happen? Yes, but again with FAR less frequency.
Your argument that because there are other ways to commit violence that we should not do anything to combat gun violence is just so tired and misguided. We should do something where we can to combat problems that we know how to deal with. It isn’t a fucking mystery how you limit gun violence. You need to limit the number of guns.
Look at smoking as an example. Everyone knows that smoking causes cancer now. There are still people who choose to smoke, but it has become much less prominent thanks to social enforcement of not smoking in public places among other things. It took a generation, but millions of lives have been saved thanks to the slow roll of common sense limitations and restrictions on tobacco products.
Quit using these fallacious arguments, and just say what you really mean:
“I don’t personally care about people who die to gun violence because my personal desire to continue owning guns supercedes the need for any common sense gun reforms.”
How the fuck are you so god damn stupid that you either aren’t aware or don’t understand there are secondary effects to the use of White Phosphorus? Saying it isn’t being used primarily as a weapon is a sloppy justification for the use of chemical weapons by an organized military that is 1000% aware of the horrific effects of using White Phosphorous where there can obviously be spill over into civilian areas.
As much as I know the prison system is broken and terrible, this guy deserves what he is getting.
He led an attempt to overthrow the fucking government. Anybody who tries to obfuscate that fact or justify what happened is playing a dangerous game. It was lucky that the violence didn’t escalate to an even more serious degree, and turn this nation on its head more than it already has. What they attempted to do has irrevocably damaged American society, and the strength of our democracy.
