Long time coder and lifetime reader, launching Mastodonbooks felt so natural. I have read from Jules Verne (De la Terre à la Lune) to Matt Haig (The Midnight Library) and I learned that you cannot read a book. You must live it! My goal is for us to share the wonders of living stories. Join us today.

STOP IT - REVERSE IT

Surrey School District has removed four books from 'Students' recommended reading list due to concerns over content.

To Kill a Mockingbird,
Of Mice and Men,
In the Heat of the Night,
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian,

Don't hide our vile racist history because a few words are uncomfortable.

'They' will not be able to fix, if they don't know it exists.

Eugen Rochko recently posted a thought:
"I think it comes down to, AI has no place in the arts. Machine-generated art has the appearance of what it is emulating, but no substance. Like cake made entirely of fondant. Or cardboard."

'Aiono' replied: "Also even if it could, like why would you automate one of the most entertaining part of being a human?"

Replace 'art' with 'writing'.

Right!

Happy writing,
Roger

I think that's great, then re-write the small story from scratch with 'your' imagination and compare.

I would say no. If that was the case they would not have removed any books at all.
