@ppk Yes, we do! And we also have room for up to 40 visitors but currently are at only 19. It would be wonderful, if you could mention both facts in your upcoming mailing 🙏
Is <img loading=lazy> good enough for your websites, or do you still need to use a JavaScript lazy-loading library for advanced functionality, consistency, or other reasons?
@simevidas we keep flipping on the feature flag for native lazy loading in our image component every time a new iOS Safari version is being released, only to realize that it still crashes the browser in our scenario. So we switch it back off. But it gets better with every new Safari release, in terms of TTFC (time to first crash)
Aktuelle Zahlen:
We were even in contact last October with the ACS organizers to ask them to coordinate with us, as we were already sensing a possible cannibalization. But apparently that slipped through after all.
I would have loved to attend ACS's barcamp day myself, too!
@erikKroes@kizu@utilitybend@5t3ph I would and was thinking about it. But as I go by car together with @nilsbinder I hereby forward that question to him, as well (and we need to check with our hotels)
@stvfrnzl that sounds like you should (and probably do) propose to non technical conferences. Pointing to the impending European Accessibility Act should open doors especially with e-commerce focused conferences. You could pitch your ideas to conferences like https://scd.shopware.com/ (probably too late for this year, pinging @leichteckig) or https://www.jtl-connect.de/
@bramus reading through the Virtual Keyboard shenanigans and your name pops up a lot. Firstly, thank you for trying to make some sense of it all / standardise 🙏
Is there a reason there's no viewport unit for this? (kinda like a modified svh) or has that idea been proposed/rejected for some reason?
Unless I'm missing something, it seems overly complex to change how the viewport behaves across a whole site just for the occasional situation you need something to float above a keyboard?
