Sir_Fridge,

We know, the EU also told meta to behave. Meta then threatened to leave and everyone was like “ok, when?”. Because we’ll just switch to the next best thing. So meta behaved. Sort of, it’s an ongoing thing.

Sir_Fridge,

So using the Dunning-Krueger effect to prove how smart you are is an example of the Dunning-Krueger effect?

Sir_Fridge,

Nowadays it’s probably also because of the dominance of American culture, especially online.

Sir_Fridge,

I’m Dutch and a zoo near me has racoons too. But then again they’re an invasive species here so it’s not as weird.

How old is the oldest building in the town you live in?

To those from the Western hemisphere, it’s always fascinating to hear that some homes and businesses from the times of the Greek philosophers still have inhabitants, and then you remember that the Western hemisphere is itself not without its own examples, for example some Mexican villages still have temples from the times of...

Sir_Fridge,

A local church is about that old (or it’s at least that old, the oldest record of it is from 1262). But there might just be a barn or a windmill that’s much older and nobody knows because at that point it’s actually medieval and record keeping wasn’t great back then.

Sir_Fridge,

Did anyone actually have to log in? I played yesterday without having to add a sony account, neither did my friends.

Sir_Fridge,

It said it required an account but you could just click next

Sir_Fridge,

The one with Belgium and the Netherlands has a park around it with a large maze, a watchtower and playgrounds.

What are some songs that you associate with it's original meaning than what people always associate it with?

For example, I remember the time when American Idiot by Green Day came out in 2004. The song “Wake Me Up When September Ends” was everywhere on the radio. The song is about the death of the vocalist’s father dying when he was age 10....

Sir_Fridge,

Alive by Pearl Jam is about a guy who’s dad ended up not being his dad because his real dad died. The guy looks a lot like his dad and his mom misses his dad so the mom tries to have sex with the guy.

Most people just hear the “I’m still alive” and think it’s a victorious song. But the I’m still alive part is meant as a sad statement.

Sir_Fridge,

Really? I still use one from 2014

Sir_Fridge,

Let’s hope that my mx master lasts then. It’s really comfortable in my hands and since I have arthritis that’s not just a nice to have. Other mice actually hurt my hands.

Sir_Fridge,

Or they’re Dutch. Seriously we’ll send you a venmo (tikkie) for 3 cents.

Sir_Fridge,

Quasar on one team member anf and autocannon on another is great on bot missions because it’s so easy to shoot down bot drops with the quasar. Then the autocannon user can take down the factories from range.

What are your favorite social minority characters in any form of fictional entertainment media, or how should a minority be written better?

It can be from any angle. Presently, I’m pondering what kind of context various LGBTQ+ characters can be written without making any kind of political statement, or rather, simply making a statement through normalization in a natural way. In other words, how do I empathize like the cool kids clique?...

Sir_Fridge,

Captain Holt in brooklyn 99. He’s both black and gay but the most standout thing about him is how he is extremely precise and organised and how he shows very little emotion.

He’s portrayed by Andre Braugher who sadly enough past away last year.

Sir_Fridge,

Thanks, good to know that me saving up for a new secret labs was a good decision.

I’ve also always found my Dxracer chair to be very comfortable and really help against back pain. Then again I’m not very tall and quite skinny and on threads like these I’ve often asked others that liked gamer chairs, and they seem to be skinny too.

Sir_Fridge,

Well then at least you can read the books to know how it ends.

Sir_Fridge,

You should probably watch starship troopers. It’s a reference for the recruitment videos in that movie.

US has urged Ukraine to halt strikes on Russian energy infrastructure (www.politico.eu)

The U.S. is concerned that targeting Russia’s energy facilities will impact the Kremlin’s oil production capacity and drive up global prices — ahead of a knife-edge presidential election where prices at the gas pump are bound to be a contentious topic....

Sir_Fridge,

On one hand, fuck em. Blow it all up! Helps us going green.

On the other hand I already struggle to afford petrol and I’m physically unable to take another transportation method.

Sir_Fridge,

It’s funny that I hear this a lot but I’ve been using my dx racer since 2017. I am quite skinny though so that might help. I’m wearing through the fake leather now though, looking to get something new by the end of this year. But the damage is mostly my fault for sitting half crossed legged, sometimes while wearing shoes.

Sir_Fridge,

Ark: survival evolved. It’s the buggiest, moast bloated piece of unbalanced trash out there. But run your own server with decreased timers and higher gathering rates, plus the occasional mod abuse to circumvent some bugs, it’s a great time with friends. Oh and just disable all the alphas. They’re dumb. Your T-Rex shouldn’t die from a random raptor.

Ark 2 is gonna be a fucking trip and if it isn’t a massive buggy mess at release I will buy 3 copies.

Sir_Fridge,

bipartidism bipartisanism is unstoppable

Buddy last year the Netherlands had 26 parties you could vote for. Which seems to be roughly average lol
