Guess I’ll stop my current playthrough since everything is getting revamped. I want to re-experience it with a fresh character.
But what to do? Street samurai? Knife throwing one hit kill ninja? Master of explosions? Puncher of faces, exploder of heads? Netrunner 2.0?
The possibilities are… well, not endless, but abundant. The only gripe is that no matter what you need to spec into Technical Ability to be able to craft/upgrade the best gear. Making it pretty much mandatory if you’re minmaxing damage (to my knowledge there is no vendor that can do it for you if you lack the skills) makes it so that 14-17 points of your character are going into that stat no matter what.
Not sure if it’s supposed to reply to your comment or what, but smurfing is when a skilled player makes a new account specifically to play against low skilled players and absolutely demolish them.
See also: twinks. Players in Dark Souls who run as a low level character to get powerful weapons much later in the game, either by using shortcuts or just skillfully defeating bosses at a low level to access the sections of the game containing the weapons. These weapons can only be upgraded with a rare resource called twinkling titanite (hence twink) which they also get, then come back and invade low level players who don’t stand a chance.
By equating corruption to treason, Zelenskyy’s office is manipulating the public’s desire for justice, said Vitaly Shabunin, head of the Anti-Corruption Action Center (Antac), a Ukrainian nongovernmental organization that monitors graft. Most of the video games I’ve played were pretty good. The only one I can think of that I didn’t like was MySims Kingdom for the Nintendo DS. Dropped that pretty quickly. It was a long while ago, but I’ll guess it was because there were too many fetch quests and annoying controls.
That’s the point of the game. It’s definitely not an easy game, but it is the easiest game of the Dark Souls/Bloodborne/Elden Ring series. And it’s okay if that’s not for you! It requires a different approach than your usual hack-and-slash game, and that’s certainly not for everyone.
Predatory usually implies that you’re being lured in to buy something, but the game has no microtransactions. At its worst the mobile version (which is free) has the option to watch an ad to get 1 revive per run. Don’t watch the ad? The game is the same as the console/PC version.
I think the lights, sounds, slaughtering massive hordes of enemies with overwhelming damage, and constant dopamine rush from them could certainly be predatory in nature if they were used to bait you into buying microtransactions, but that’s not the case here. I see where they’re coming from, but I can’t necessarily agree.
Hotline Miami 1 was such a fantastic game. Frantic, high energy, fun, good art style, a confusing at best story but that’s not why you played it. HM2 was full of off-screen instant kill bullshit that you literally could not prepare for in any way other than to die to it a handful of times before you memorized enemy positions off-screen. In the first game, you could always see threats before they could kill you. Not the case in the sequel. “You died and there’s nothing you could have done to prevent it” is a bullshit mechanic in any game.
Handheld consoles sound like a pretty cool concept in schools I guess? I’m just now realising it’s never been much of a thing where I live, but I’m sure it has been, or still is, for a lot of you....
My school’s faculty didn’t give a damn if we played games during breaks, just not during class.
I played anything and everything - Final Fantasy, Zelda 2, Jam Sessions, Animal Crossing, Metroid Prime Hunters, hell when I learned about PSP softmodding most of my research on it was done at school during lunch or spares. Teachers never looked at me twice.
That said, they did start raising eyebrows when I used a live CD of Linux to bypass all of their content filters….
Finished up the new content in NMS, got tired of Cyberpunk’s frequent crashing on my umpteenth playthrough (though that’s on console, admittedly), and I’m all Diabloed out. Don’t really want to buy a new game.
and I am really not impressed. I don’t want to know more about the story, don’t want to build a spaceship that I can fast travel with, don’t want to explore the universe....
Hello, today we are going to talk about some flying robot behavior improvements. Some of the problems we fixed were reported countless times, so I hope that some people will appreciate it :).
My bots-only factory had 70,000+ bots in it because of dumb bot logic. With these improvements, it should run more efficiently with a fraction of the bots. This is fantastic!
I just hope they resolve the crashing issues before putting it to bed. I love Cyberpunk, but the game crashes frequently on PS5. We’re talking 3-5 times per session.
Considering getting it on PC and cloud transferring saves over. Is it stable on PC?
My hardware is modest (GTX 1660, Ryzen 5… I wanna say 3600?, 32GB RAM, NVMe storage), and realistically I’d probably play it primarily on my Steam Deck. I don’t need ray tracing - never used it on PS5 because it was that or 60FPS - but framerates are important. Deck’s probably not gonna keep a stable 40 FPS but if I’m playing on my PC I would expect it to run at a stable 60 at 1080p.
That’s fair. Could always grab the GOG version since it’s DRM-free, test it on my hardware, then once I confirm it runs the way I want it to actually buy it.

First time souls-borne player here. I started the game out with the warrior class because I figured it would be the most well rounded, however, I did a little reading and found that the samurai and vagabond were supposedly good classes for people just starting out. Is it worth it to reset the little progress I have to start out...
Ok so simple one: doesn’t voyager have a floating post button ? Do I have to go to a respective community I follow to post? Not very intuitive I suppose. Would love to have a post button or even a shortcut on the main feed screen, things would be easier. Cheers!
