Heya, i know everyone is fucking upset but i feel like we shouldn't exactly distribute Yuzu and Citra executables and source code in the fediverse since Nintendo can contact whoever hosts the domains and instances to not only delete your posts that are alleged to infringe copyright but even shut down entire websites including fedi instances especially if they're hosted inside the USA.

so...... when do we switch to a different chatting platform by now? discord is pretty much going to the deep end with copying's telegram contact and phone attachment stuff even if the company should definitively know by now that many vulnerable people like myself have used it for years and can't risk being suddenly "connected" with abusive family members on the platform that was once a safe space for us

@Marie yea i saw that's the norm when it comes to messaging apps nowadays, but still it shows how absolutely uncaring the Discord company it is towards it's userbase's safety and instead just wants to conform to standards because it's "what everyone uses" even if it's not ideal especially in Discord's specific circumstances
