Had to block a fediverse instance for right-wing extremism. One of the admins has a pinned post saying something like "we're not right-wing, we're just accepting of everyone", one of their moderators has a bunch of anti-gay shit, another a bunch of racist shit.

I honestly do not know how to explain to someone why they should care about keeping their data secure. It's so glaringly obvious to me that this needs to be done, it's like asking why having access to clean water is necessary.

@grillchen I criticize KDE for being a bit buggy at times and having poor interactions with their devs (I no longer bother filling bug reports). I continue to consider KDE one of the best desktop user experiences available.
