Climbing usually builds strength and helps to reduce chance of repetitive strain injuries. Finger injuries, however, are super common but fortunately don’t typically hinder typing.

I got a vasectomy when I was 31 and have never looked back. Would highly recommend it if you’re committed to being child free. Was a simple discussion with my (male) GP and after a few questions to make sure I understood the implications and that I had thought it through he gave me the referral.

I really feel bad for women - they have so much more stigma and a harder time with this in general, even in progressive countries.

I exclusively use phones with a 3.5mm jack. Currently on a Sony Xperia 1 IV. That said, I also use bluetooth IEMs sometimes and I like having the option of switching between wired/wireless when convenient.

Not sure about the US, but here in Australia many golf courses are built on flood plains where regular development would not be permitted. Still not nearly as beneficial as native bushland would be, but not as much of a “waste of space” as many tend to believe.

What's a band that has one album that is just about perfect in your opinion, but rest of their discography misses the mark with you?

One of mine is Commit This to Memory by Motion City Soundtrack. I basically took the title verbatim and know the album word for word. And while I would love if it did, the rest of MCS’s stuff just doesn’t hit the same way....

Or Worship Him which is by far their best work.

One of my favourite black metal albums is Rain Upon the Impure by The Ruins of Beverast. Nothing he’s done before or since comes even close to the perfection of that album.

I agree. I wish I didn’t love so many of Polanski’s movies…

Same but also Eminem. First CD I bought was Marshall Mather’s LP with money stolen from my dad’s wallet.

Thanks for this. I was going to comment that corruption charges in India must either be punitive or politically motivated because it’s literally everywhere. I don’t think India in its current state would function without corruption.

I also do this and am also ostracized and condemned by passengers for my behavior. Worth it.

Except when they come and play exclusively for Dark Mofo and then leave. To be fair to you though, that’s rarely part of a “world tour”

For sure except, from what I understand, they can afford to pay the bands for exclusivity. I don’t think it happens much any more but I’ve definitely seen more than a few bands come to oz just to play there then leave over the years.
