For what it’s worth, smoking was probably banned because of the fire risk and how easily it annoys people nearby. Alcohol is much more contained and mostly affects the person who directly consumes it.

Though I agree, considering how high the safety standards are in aviation, having people on board that are under the influence of drugs seems like something that should be banned.

I’m usually watching at 2.5-3.0 times speed. I turn down the speed either for A: entertainment (movies simply have a sort of pacing that is not so nice to interrupt (compared to any random YouTube video)), or B: because the content is sooo good and information dense that the limiting factor is no longer audio processing, but following the reasoning of the content. Those are the videos I love most.

Start slow. A skateboard is like an inch off the ground, in the worst case you can always jump off. Practice jumping off when standing, when rolling slowly and just start to build up confidence like that.

The reason this gets attention is because it’s the first level 3 sold to consumers.

Man kann in der registry prinzipiell Keys remappen. Z.b. Capsblock in esc verwandeln, was für vim sinnvoll ist. Kann mir vorstellen, dass du damit auch “Print screen” remappen kannst.

Powertoys haben das vielleicht auch schon als GUI.

You can maybe diversify a bit by adding other stuff while leaving the base the same.

E.g. my go to is oat meal. But you can add apples, bananas, nuts, strawberries, seeds, etc. This should combat the one dimensionality of that lifestyle a bit. At least I hope so, lol.

Technisch die beste, damit kann man zum Beispiel auch Bürgermeister vollständig gendern. Das hab ich bisher bei noch keiner anderen Variante gesehen.

Aber subjektiv klingt es halt auch einfach ziemlich bescheuert.

Aber ja, das würde auch konsequentes gendern ermöglichen ohne sich komplett die Zunge zu verbiegen.

Chen-Gendern Hatte Ich vorher noch nie gehört, aber irgendwie klingen damit alle Worte süß und das gefällt mir ^^

Bin kein Experte, aber ich denke ja. Wenn man konsequent gendern will müsste aus Bürgermeister Bürgymeisty werden.

Das mit dem y kann man mögen oder nicht. Schlägt aber auf jeden Fall Bürger:innenmeister:innen.

Yes, but imagine if we gave kids the ability to ask questions instead of leaving them with books after they are able to read - wait, we actually do that. It’s called teaching or private tutoring and orders of magnitude better at conveying knowledge than scraping together information from different sources.
