WaxedWookie,

As though having the rules applied to them won’t reenforce their victim complex.

If they lose - even thanks to a GOP judge (a wild concept) it’ll be because of the elites… You know - the Jews.

They’re somehow both moronic and evil.

WaxedWookie,

Is that some of that librul virtue signalling I hear so much about?

WaxedWookie,

It has been several years, and he did cry a lot when it happened

He’s not new to the circuit, and he cried when it looked like he might wind up in prison. None of this is remorse.

I’m not sure remorse is necessary if it was in self-defense.

True - though I’d say it seems common. Either way, crossing state lines to procure a firearm to take to that protest to create the pretext to shoot people was not self-defence. That’s premeditated.

I’m also not sure what other opportunities he has.

I won’t be losing any sleep over someone having some extra difficulty finding employment after getting away with what he did. There’s no shortage of people that support him - finding a job that doesn’t involve bragging about killing 2 people isn’t a big ask.

Nobody tries to find problems with the hand that feeds them.

This simply isn’t true. I’ve turned down lucrative job offers (e.g. 70%+ more than what I was on at the time plus significant chunks of equity and benefits) because I had concerns about the ethics of the prospective employers. I’ve also spoken out about issues with my employers that have cost me multiple jobs (and chasing me out rather than listening buried at least one of those businesses). I don’t hold others to standards I don’t uphold myself.

Honestly, with everything said about people like Dennis Prager and TPUSA, from his perspective he can just think “leftists hate and lie about them like they hated and lied about me”.

I’m not going to make excuses for him dismissing the endless, quantified criticism of a transparently dishonest, racist propaganda outfit and the parade of absolute scumbags he chose to work alongside.

WaxedWookie,

In cases like this, I favour the kind of poetic justice that only irony can deliver - leaving them strapped down to be waterboarded by one of their sewage outlets seems like a good option.

WaxedWookie,

You’re making highly authoritarian, essentialist arguments - I can’t imagine why you’d be getting that kind of pushback.

As you double down while getting downvoted to oblivion as everyone tells you how wrong you are, I’m sure you won’t be the…

kid (that) comes up with bullshit rationalisation for why they’re right and everyone else is wrong once they get home.

WaxedWookie,

There we have it folks.

You couldn’t help putting a nice little bow on my point, could you?

WaxedWookie,

So what if now hear me out we do none of that, and do number go up instead - you know - for the shareholders?

'Everyone in the World Needs to See This': Footage Shows IDF Drone Killing Gazans (www.commondreams.org)

Adding to the mountain of evidence that Israel is engaged in a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera on Thursday aired footage of what the news outlet reported was an Israeli drone targeting four Palestinians in Khan Younis last month....

WaxedWookie, (edited )

Yes - being flattered and disinterested in someone that just keeps coming back for more embarrassment is the creepy bit. It’s long past time you fucked off - this block is for your own good.

Try to work on your credulity - assuming civilians (and UN aid workers yesterday) being executed in drone strikes by a genocidal regime is all above board is evidence of a severe cognitive deficiency.

Edit: I guess we can throw the Iranian consulate on to the pile too.

WaxedWookie,

Yet you keep coming back for more…

Is this some kind of humiliation fetish deal? I’m flattered but not interested - if nothing else, given the dumb, inconsistent nonsense you’re spouting, I’ve got concerns about your capacity for consent.

What did I say about trotting on, again? Get to it.

WaxedWookie,

That’s bound to work out great with their history of crashing…

WaxedWookie,

Who will pay their bribes to secure a healthy pipeline of human suffering because that’s good for their investors donations to encourage more great policies and responsible governance.

WaxedWookie,

But prison is so much more expensive… Looks at political donations from prison companiesAh - that’ll do it.

Why bother with representation and good policy when you can have corruption, graft, and all the wonders of late stage capitalism.

WaxedWookie,

Chuds: The free market will solve it!

Also Chuds: REEEEEEEEEEEE! YOU CAN’T SPEND YOUR MONEY LIKE THAT!

‘IRL Fakes:’ Where People Pay for AI-Generated Porn of Normal People (www.404media.co)

A Telegram user who advertises their services on Twitter will create an AI-generated pornographic image of anyone in the world for as little as $10 if users send them pictures of that person. Like many other Telegram communities and users producing nonconsensual AI-generated sexual images, this user creates fake nude images of...

WaxedWookie,

What’s hard to understand is why you skipped the question I asked, and answered a different one instead.

The creation of the CSAM is unquestionably far more harmful, but I wasn’t talking about the *creation *- I was talking about the possession. The harm of the creation is already done, and whether or not the material exists after that does nothing to undo that harm.

Again, is your prescription the same as it relates to the possession, not generation of CSAM?

WaxedWookie,

Strange of you to respond to a comment about the fakes being shared in this way…

Do you have the same prescriptions in relation to someone with a stash of CSAM, and if not, why not?

WaxedWookie,

The internet made photos of trump and putin kissing shirtless.

And is that OK?

I’m going to jump in on this one and say yes - it’s mostly fine.

I look at these things through the lens of the harm they do and the benefits they deliver - consequentialism and act utilitarianism.

The benefits are artistic, comedic and political.

The “harm” is that Putin and or Trump might feel bad, maaaaaaybe enough that they’d kill themselves. All that gets put back up under benefits as far as I’m concerned - they’re both extremely powerful monsters that have done and will continue to do incredible harm.

The real harm is that such works risk normalising this treatment of regular folk, which is genuinely harmful. I think that’s unlikely, but it’s impossible to rule out.

Similarly, the dissemination of the kinds of AI fakes under discussion is a negative because they do serious, measurable harm.

WaxedWookie,

Why not just do both? We don’t even have to stop there - we could stop the Uyghur genocide, free Tibet, leave Taiwan alone, and stop the bullshit in the Spratley Islands while we’re at it.

Oh - tankie logic - I’ll get the finger paint.

Ready? I’ll take it slow - It’s bad to do some things - like genocide or ending democracy - and those things are bad whether you’re the US, China, or a bootlicking dipshit that’s incapable of defining communism when handed a dictionary.

Simple stuff.

Edit: holy fuck I was not wrong on the tankie piece - their most recent comment was a massive rant about Tiananmen square.

WaxedWookie,

Who’d have thought Business Insider would be running interference for the neoliberal slide into end-stage capitalism, by blaming those worst affected by the collapse for the symptoms that are fucking them over?

WaxedWookie,

Businesses are doing great in a cost of living crisis while the workers that both produce and consume the products are fucked - what could possibly go wrong? Things will trickle down any decade now… You’ll see.

This is like the private equity model scaled up to the level of the economy… Strip out all the costs (cut wages, automate, etc.) in an entirely unsustainable way that makes things look good on paper short-term, pat yourself on the back for turning the business around, then flog the lot on the fudged valuation and run, chuckling as the whole house of cards collapses.

Structural change is needed. Endlessly siphoning more and more productivity off to non-productive shareholders is breaking the economy.

WaxedWookie,

You do you, my dude - happy holidays!

Incoherent screaming

WaxedWookie,

He denied threatening the driver with arrest, but kept threatening him with obstruction, which is a secondary charge unless I’m mistaken.

WaxedWookie,

We can reasonably count the amount of time since Biden approved the transfer of billions of dollars worth of jets and weapons to Israel in hours.

This was always going to be a genocide - it didn’t take the weight US security apparatus to know this, but the US’s active defence of Israel from supplying the weapons being used to carry out that genocide, to vetoing various UN security council resolutions relating to the genocide, to taking inadequate action too late, Biden and the US government broadly have actively aided this genocide.

WaxedWookie,

Ah - You must be referring to the ones that funded and backed Hamas’s rise to power over the secular moderates with predictable results…

Israel.
