My latest piece is called VISIONS, and it's a kind of psychedelic colorscape generator. It's designed as a screensaver, so it scales to any aspect ratio, has hypnotic animation, and runs forever without repeating.

I'm pretty sure my USB stack has a static electricity problem. Either that, or an EMI problem.
a good 25% of the time when I adjust my office chair (which is on a plastic mat), my mouse disconnects. If I do a lot of movement, one of my monitors will reset.

I'm not sure how exactly to fix this.

OK, who can recommend a domain name registrar that:

  • Is boring and dependable and has a rock solid track record
  • Has a really good UI, including on mobile
  • Supports as many TLDs as possible
  • Isn't likely to get acquired by someone else
  • Ideally supports multiple payment methods as insurance against accidental card expiry

@podatus yeah the kinks are still being worked out... the reddit exodus has put a huge load on the devs and servers

I made a new account because I miss reddit style social media and I needed my fix... my ideal situation would be to port this account to kbin so I can keep my followers

they haven't implemented server migration yet though

since it's a core fediverse feature, I imagine it is coming soon enough

Technically you can follow from masto, but you'll miss the threads (for now)

@podatus I think another thing that may happen is Masto could update to support the thread views that are common on kbin and lemmy etc

the posts definitely show up in both places though!
