6 is nearly there.
Over the last week, I've scripted automated install from zip builds using as well as install process and api testing using

Build testing helped me find bugs that you can't always see. Zips are tested across 7.4 to 8.2.

Really hoping August is enough time!

My music player using is somewhat done!
It can fetch playlists, read music, integrate with to use the media notification.
That's all I wanted for a first version, which is perfect!

I think at a minimum you just need to read and shuffle lists. Everything else is gravy.

Was the api/server hard to do or was flutter harder?

@lexplt every time i look at android i give up so keep strong!

i do like the idea of the media source being kept alive. i've noticed that the battery saving features can kill things like dsub mid song

It took me the whole day but I can login to @ampache with a client!

screen you see when your credentials are incorrect. there is a yellow app bar with the title "login to subsonic". we can see an error popup with the text "invalid authentication attempt to Subsonic API for user [fola]". in the background we see 3 text fields: server url, username and password. the "login" button is hidden by the error popup

I didn't get to work on my roguelike , because my is finally back up! After nearly 576 hours of outage (dead drive), everything is up and even better than before, behind Cloudflare and with a tailscale like solution to avoid opening too many ports

@lexplt were you physically moving and sorting the files? You do have options for organising the files using the cli.

./bin/cli cleanup:sortSongs

It will sort files and/or folders depending on your catalog pattern.

If you were trying to do things that this doesn't do let me know and we can look at more organisation features

@lexplt I am going to be looking at a lot more cli options and abilities after 6 comes out so if you have issues that you think I can make faster for other people let me know!

Ampache6 preview2 is up now!

There have been a lot of little bugs fixed here especially if you're a Chrome user who is a flac-enthusiast. 😉

I'm really happy to say that this will probably be the last preview so now is definitely the time to try things out!
