Mine’s 8x10 and I’m worried about space, 4x6 seems like it’d be tight! Godspeed, dude

I used to drive a Benz, I hated it. Now I’m on my second Cadillac and I’m never going back. Cadillac makes a damn fine automobile tell ya what.

I think that’s satire? I’m not sure, but it feels like satire.

I’m in the UAW, we used to not be able to vote on leadership. Now we can, and with a guy like Shawn Fain in the big chair I feel like we’ve already come a long way. I voted for him and I’ll do it again.

I always manifold my inside plants, but just let my outdoor plants ride. I’m pumped to see your harvest numbers for sure.

Wow! Excellent work

There aren’t many issues honestly and troubleshooting them isn’t that bad. Malware/virus isn’t really an issue on Linux, your main protection and all you really need is the forethought to not run random bullshit with root privilege. Most mainstream distros have graphical package managers, too. Your best bet is to boot a live USB and play around, check ProtonDB for your favorite games, and then install directly over your windows drive. Or I mean like a virtual machine would also be cool.

I migrated my whole family to Linux Mint, my grandma even, they all love it. I don’t spend much time supporting them either which is nice, Mint is just really headache-free.

If Green Tractor Factory ever starts hiring again you’re welcome to come here, we don’t rotate shifts, we make 90k a year, we get free health insurance. Because we’re UAW. But we’re also about to lay off so it might be a minute.

I’ve worked all three shifts. There’s guys been stuck on 2nd for 20 years, and 2nd shift is fucking WACK. From that perspective I kind of understand rotating shifts because everyone gets fucked the same. It’s more equitable. From every other perspective it’s shitty as fuck.

2nd shift is great if you don’t have a family. You’re asleep when the kids go to school, you’re at work when they get home. Can’t have dinner as a family. I like 3rd, I go in after the kids go to bed and I wake up in time to pick them up.

Very nice! Always cool to see another soil guy, let alone another greenhouse guy! Super excited to see where these go, please keep us updated

Awesome! I use live composts exclusively, even when I grow indoors. That definitely has downsides, so I’m glad to be in the greenhouse 😂 the weed I used to grow with liquid salt nutes was literally garbage compared to what I grow now in living soil, plus it’s super low maintenance.

Are you making your own compost?

bizzle,
@bizzle@lemmy.world avatar

A;ways happy to help the new generation of weed farmers see the light of living soil 😂

When we talk about living compost, we mean biologically active compost. It’s got microorganisms in there that help the plants use nutrients and stave off disease. Search terms probably will include things like “organic living soil” or “no-till gardening”. Here is a good 1000 foot view. I also listen to a podcast called Shaping Fire that focuses on organic and regenerative techniques and how they relate to growing some bomb ass weed. My own greenhouse really leans heavily on techniques I learned from Shaping Fire, especially the Compost Super Show episode.

I try not to proselytize; some guys aren’t going to grow organic and I respect that. But if you’re already interested, I will say that it produces superior weed with less effort than the guys that grow with nutrient salts.

Zippo lighter, to light my to-go joints. Sometimes a pen but most of my pants it’s too short and it looks silly.

I get where you’re coming from but oh my god is that a wack ass take

The second Children of Stuff- I think it’s Children of Ruin- talks about far-future octopod civilization. Interesting stuff. The whole trilogy is super good and I recommend it.

Is there something wrong with GOG version of Fallout 4?

I got hyped by the TV series so I will play the game for the first time (yes, I know, it took this long). I usually prefer to buy GOG version of a game but I saw the rating of FO4 GOG at 3.9/5. Why is that? I have read somewhere that there is technical issue of some sort which includes modding for GOG version? I expected higher...

@bizzle@lemmy.world avatar

I remember I bought a PS4 just to play FO4 and I was wildly disappointed. New Vegas is better.

This does not look yummy, and I’m fuckin baked so you can probably trust me.

Beautiful. Do you really think it needs three weeks?
