the atari 8-bit's graphics capabilities were fun (and advanced for 1979!), with ability to customize the screen layout as a mix of text and graphics modes at scanline granularity

you could also select a "playfield width" for graphics lines; standard was 160 color clocks (320 pixels of monochrome gfx/text)

you could also use a 'wide' playfield of 192 color clocks, which on a standard TV might extend out of the visible area

or a 'narrow' playfield of 128 color clocks, save some ram

my one very minor gripe about the Canon R10 is that it can record 1080p video at a smooth 60/50* fps but 2160p only at slower 30/25/24* fps, so you have to balance frame rate and detail ;_;
