@panic @cabel I don’t know if you ever read through my thread of issues with Prompt(https://social.lol/@nicolas/112307687759311267) but I’ve found another issue

When running “systemctl status” on a Linux machine it is supposed to print the status of a program, and usually the last log lines. The lines usually go off the right edge. Every other terminal including Apple Terminal you can use right and left arrow keys to scroll right. Prompt scrolls DOWN and reprints the entire screen, except it’s moved to the right.

You know what would be amazing? If a bunch of streaming services — cross-corporation! — all got together and offered a bundle of a BUNCH of streaming apps for one price! Why not?

It’d be even better if they could throw in local news, too. And maybe even local community streaming from city-based public studios — how amazing would that be?!?

Bonus points if they could deliver it on a redundant connection, like some kind of dedicated cord, so it keeps working even if your WiFi dies

I’m always surprised that Apple engraving is free. I mean, not even $10? On one hand, that’s really awesome of them!! On another, far more cynical hand, I wonder, why? Conspiracy theory, but, does it meaningfully reduce resale value? Hmm.

@Cdespinosa @pixel Incredible. Yes, it was the computer typewriter font that was the biggest red flag for me. Whole generations don’t know that you’d feed a printed thing into a typewriter to type the custom bit on top of it — and it shows at times like this 😌
