@twostraws 1. If I were you, Iโ€™d go to Google's page for managing passkeys and check how many you have. If itโ€™s too confusing to figure out, remove them all from Googleโ€™s website, delete them in your password manager, and set up again.

  1. Itโ€™s complicated. In my eyes, almost all of the time, this is theater. However, the organization may still be testing the waters with passkeys, or think that some regulation of some kinds is requiring the SMS.

  2. Thatโ€™s feasible. Not a bad idea.
