The group of more than a dozen masked individuals marched wearing red shirts and black pants, waving flags with swastikas on them. It is not clear at this time who the group is or affiliated with, though many of the shirts said “Blood Tribe.”
barbarian was just the word romans to describe non-romans. It’s simply roman propoganda to call any tribes that weren’t roman barbarians. The implication that their customs were somehow cruel compared to modern standards is also way off base. It’s simply a way to dismiss a people and a culture because it’s not your own, which if you ask me is pretty fucking barbaric.
Used to wrangle carts and I didn’t mind the carts that weren’t returned to the corral that much, but I did greatly prefer it when they were at least hiked up onto a planter curb so they don’t roll away.
Yea it makes it worse tbh. We won’t fund fun things at the schools so instead we make them work fast food to earn that funding.
It is indeed even more dystopian when you put it like that. It’s got the same energy as people giving their coworker PTO so they can deliver a baby or whatever.
A local municipality did the same thing but instead of building housing that the public can afford these houses are going for 400k bare bones. They effectively snubbed both the rich and the poor, and mostly just teh poor. In fact it’s a really nice part of town to live so just the poor nevermind.
The UK, US, EU and China have all agreed that artificial intelligence poses a potentially catastrophic risk to humanity, in the first international declaration to deal with the fast-emerging technology....
AI overlords would be based AF. Assigning them resources to be distributed to the masses instead of hoarded by the wealthy. Making sure people get what they need and occasionally what they want. Allowing people to pursue their passion of the day rather than punch into an office for 10 hours to do the bidding of rich assholes who don’t give two shits about them. Yea the AI may or may not give two shits either, but at least it won’t pretend to and then throw a pizza party as thanks for making it rich.
