Bluesky is publicly viewable AND posts are indexed and searchable now, without the server setup that's proven somewhat difficult for small-setup admins here on Mastodon due to the memory requirements.

Getting ever so slightly closer to a fully fledged Twitter replacement for us civic advocacy people. Final and hardest piece will be media storage and delivery

I wish the Auras came in colors. I like the blue KN95s I've been using but the seal isn't as good and for long transit trips it matters

it's spooky season

I'm canceling plans to meet up with friends today because of this. Don't trust the evening runs.

This has become normal and it's not okay

Fellow people with bikes, an equipment transport puzzle for you: A 4-foot carpenter's level. It's part of a city infrastructure project, and I need to be able to carry it quickly between a large number of bus stops.

I have an e-bike with a Topeak rear rack, but it's not a cargo bike. How can I best secure it?

Yesterday, DDOT unveiled their "Reimagined" plan to redesign the entire system. The plan is heavily focused on improving frequency along key corridors.

Red: 7.5- to 10-minute service
Yellow: 15-minute service
Green: 30-minute service
Black: Eliminated service

coreyjrowe,

I think this is the first time I've seen a transit agency in Michigan admit that anything less frequent than every 30 minutes is "lifeline" service.

This is an incredibly ambitious plan. Can they hire enough drivers to deliver it is the question

coreyjrowe,

The full map, including route-by-route descriptions of service changes, is available here:

coreyjrowe,

The new Route 70 is the showstopper in my opinion. Direct service between Rosa Parks Transit Center, downtown, and Belle Isle!
