Sure, it's possible they finished the changes and got everything signed off and someone said "OK, just push it next Monday" not thinking about the actual date - but with this group? Probably not.

Just for clarification - that Airbnb or uber are prime examples of business practices and systems for universities to emulate seems appalling or stunningly naive as to the nature of these businesses…
active credit card phishing exploits ongoing on the internal @bookingcom#booking.com message system. After reporting this Booking appears to be deliberately misclassifying this a 'unsolicited email' and denying it's from inside their system to loggedin users ?! This is a legitimate message from a booking I have-probably hotel login credentials are compromised but the whole booking.com system treats the message as legit - flagging reminders to respond to the message on user login front page...
@danbz kind of unsurprising given how booking is running the most barebones operation they can possibly get away with while still ripping off hotels. Their agents are paid poorly and pressed to the max by weird metrics that do not stress any form of quality, so i can imagine myself in that environment not giving a rats ass about anyone else.
@nbhansen after this I had another message telling me that I had contacted #bookingcom about a credit card charge that I think is incorrect and asking me to send them bank statements - it's a little #FUBAR
