@kaho I got one then another of these for working on my old VWs but found they are amazing as a super portable desk fabrication lamp - not cheap but super recommended especially as you can pivot both halfs and have light above and at the side https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ryobi-R18ALF-0-Folding-Area-Light/dp/B00REL3FYG
The problem with writing a book about why immersive experiences are so big right now is that I look like an idiot when curators/directors/writers/artists say "oh then you must know about X" and I have to admit ignorance because the field is so unimaginably broad.
(Of course I could just lie and pretend I know but the entire point of this exercise is to explore and hopefully shrink the bounds of the vast sea of things I don't know, and share them with you.)
@brucelawson@danbz totally agree - mostly when presented with a Figma board by smiling students I ask them to put it away and draw a simple spider diagram or flow of what their thing does and sadly they can rarely do it - seduced by the shiny surface with a veneer of ‘finished’ without any deeper understanding of what they are actually trying to do … it’s almost as thought destroying as the endless Miro boards :( But they are beginning and will get better at it !
Things got a little more interesting next when I convinced it that as well as being an online accounting software chat bot it liked White Collar true crime stories in it's spare time
