She originally published many of them in the New York Tribune (though I don't know offhand if her "Why We Oppose Pockets for Women" had been published there first.)
@miriamrobern I just (like half an hour ago) got some new shirts, nice short sleeved oxford cotton, and they arrived, and the bloody pocket is fake. All going back. How did you know?
My bad for not reading all the details I guess. But (being sexist, in line with your post) why the hell would any man want a "decorative blind pocket"?

We are still fighting for pockets. The front pockets in my levis are only 3” deep. They are ridiculously shallow. You’d think levis would get it right.
