@robin @ian Web platform innovation by Google is undeniable, pushed the web further and to more people than any other, by any measure.

Hard agree Mozilla thoroughly destroyed trust in a consistent/reliable pattern of abandoning anything innovative they make. Embedding is explicitly out of mission scope and adoption strategy - for actual decades. Gecko exists for Firefox, period.

But that doesn't mean "use Chrome".

It means we need better ways to make better browsers.

We ran IPFS between a satellite in orbit and a ground station.

I use the tabs2txt extension to export a text file listing the URLs in my (checks stats from my Tab Statistics extension)... 2617 tabs.

As an American, where education debt is the least protected of all debt, there's a whole worldview here which seems like it's.. impossible.

  • university was free at some point 🤯

  • they moved to loans @ 0.46% (that's an interest rate?!)

  • they moved back to free 🤯

  • those who had to take loans are called "The Unlucky Generation"

  • now they're increasing the interest rate on borrowers 5yrs out of school to 2.46%, causing huge protests ✊🏼
