I'm seeing a lot of hyperbolic reactions to recent developments at #bandcamp. Yes, the union-busting and editorial cuts suck. Yes, indie artists should explore distribution alternatives. But pulling down your content from the platform? Calling this a death spiral? That seems really premature given there have been zero changes to the product and the monetization strategy. What do you know that I don't?
