I really am tired of Chicago. It is choked with cars and hence so unpleasant to walk anywhere. (Okay, except inside some parks, once you are there.) Rush hour is especially bad. I was almost nailed by a distracted driver in a crosswalk this evening. I'm glad we are planning to move away soon.

Sometimes we have to talk to someone else to make sense of what we want to tell ourselves. Sometimes we have to try one thing so we can decide to do another. Sometimes we have to fail at something spectacularly so that we can get comfortable failing at it incrementally (aka learning). ... Sometimes we have to ask the stupid, obvious, necessary, awkward question because no one else will.

My son Daniel made a super tasty dinner for us… we were joined by a yoga buddy who loves Artemis.

During tonight’s walk, we ran into Loki and her humans… two lawyers. Frightening that my bar ID is 1/3 of their bar IDs… lots of lawyers minted after 1992.

I’m going to need to do ALL the binge watching after surgery next week.

Fairly disappointed in the Aqara fingerprint lock. It doesn’t work well with HomeKit and requires a hub and a cloud account to work with #homeassistant

Back to the Z-wave door lock.

Picked my son up from school after he finished his sophomore year with a dorm room overlooking Storrow drive.

Yes - 90125 (Atlantic 75 Series)

Yes imploded/exploded quite a few times over the years, and when it broke into XYZ/Asia and this Trevor Horn-led version, 90125 came out with a new, very 80s-commercial sound.

You've definitely heard "Owner of a Lonely Heart”, which was mostly a Horn composition for a solo album. Kind of last-minute add-on Jon Anderson gave it (and the album) a more "Yes" feel.

New Atlantic 75 version sounds great.
