Remote control of your personal phone for work? That sounds dodgey, I would definitely refuse. Would anyone actually accept that?

Also, 2fa is a really shit excuse for that.

Completely wrong. The Microsoft word collaboration is completly Terrible, constantly locks other people from editing even if they are on another part of the page. It really doesn’t work for more than 2 people, while you can have like 30 people on a google doc with no issues (probably more, haven’t tried more).

Also, I blocked beehaw, why can I see your comment

I haven’t noticed any issues, but lemmy.world used to have lots of downtime right after the ban of third party apps on Reddit when I switched because too many users went there, they are probably still a bit overloaded.

There are no instances other than the demo which resets daily, sublinks isn’t near finished yet as far as I know.

You should be able to use any Lemmy client with it as it is a compatible.

Why the fuck are your users flipping a page back and forth 10 times. I understand the Bluetooth bit, they wanted it to restart probably from a device not showing up. Also what was the issue

It doesn’t matter if a human can’t, some idiot is going to open an autoclicker at 1000cps and break it

Notepad++ wants your help in "parasite website" shutdown (www.bleepingcomputer.com)

The Notepad++ project is seeking the public’s help in taking down a copycat website that closely impersonates Notepad++ but is not affiliated with the project. There is some concern that it could pose security threats—for example, if it starts pushing malicious releases or spam someday either deliberately or as a result of a...

Probably, but I Don’t think people want to escalate it to ICANN without even asking the person first and going to the domain registrar
