I hope so, I haven’t used the AI tools much on perchance so I don’t know.

Holy shit America is crazy. How do you get to the point where more kids are dying of guns than cars in a country with too many cars. And why has poisoning gone up so much?

eatham,
@eatham@aussie.zone avatar

Yeah good point. I’d recommend uninstalling edge using Aveyo’s edge uninstaller, it won’t annoy you anymore.

Also the EU doesn’t require it to be a pop-up, you just have to use the users set default afaik.

Are you talking about the ai plugins on perchance or perchance itself?

My school laptop is at 125% (it’s high resolution enough that I have a hard time reading the text on 100% ) and my other laptop is 100% . 150% is just wasted screen space.

eatham,
@eatham@aussie.zone avatar

No, it’s only the same if the desktop display is the same size as the laptop screen but lower resolution. Which just isn’t the case most of the time.

Can you link the podcast?

eatham,
@eatham@aussie.zone avatar

Anyone can call from any number? Surely it’s not easy to spoof numbers.

eatham,
@eatham@aussie.zone avatar

What about making your country not pure capitalism

eatham,
@eatham@aussie.zone avatar

How do you even spoof numbers? just say “oh my number is 1234 not 5678 ignore that is from 5678”

They all did this, it’s to sell you more phones, and probably should have been intervened by the govt. Watch the high Jeffery video about it, its pretty good.

eatham,
@eatham@aussie.zone avatar

I’m too lazy to link the video hugh Jefferies made, but it explains all this. The 3G shutdown will also affect a lot of 4G phones, because 4G just uses 3G for calls and LTE was introduced later. There’s also stuff like fall detectors which automatically call emergency services if the user has a fall. The govt should make carriers give them a new phone, not money. The carriers could then send them something in the mail because of people in remote areas who would have to drive far for a new phone. Or, just keep 3G and when LTE is obsolete you can remove it because 3G will still be up.

In Victoria we didn’t ban plastic, we made it so corps had to charge you for them. Really stupid.

@eatham@aussie.zone avatar

You should make it so you can compare features like moderation support and other stuff

Edit: also add a claimed app option for apps claimed on your site

Edit2: also add what Lemmy/compatibles (currently only sublinks) versions are supported, with the default being only the latest selected

eatham,
@eatham@aussie.zone avatar

Claimed app as a filter, yes.

I meant this more about direct compatibles to Lemmy like sublinks, but doing it for apps with kbin and other fedi is a good idea.

eatham,
@eatham@aussie.zone avatar

The go “back to where you came from” argument is very stupid considering they came from Britain

I don’t think a VPN counts as SaaS, it’s something that costs the company money constantly to run, SaaS is more like the Adobe apps, which are not a service at all and it doesn’t cost them money for me to not uninstall it.

eatham,
@eatham@aussie.zone avatar

Why are you paying for weather

eatham,
@eatham@aussie.zone avatar

If it’s an internet service that should be one, it’s not SaaS. I’m not redefining it, that’s just the definition. SaaS is just software, but as a (subscription) service.

The things you say you want are the complete opposite of lemmygrad (and hexbear). I’d avoid lemmy.world, apparently the mods there abuse their power, and the fedi is meant to be spread apart, Lemmy.world is getting a bit big. I don’t see why you should go to a Lemmy instance specific to politics, but the only ones I know of don’t follow any of the things you want. I’d say to join a general purpose instance, maybe one in your country? Or you could join a topic specific instance like the programmer one and the various star trek instances.
