Attention iCloud 50GB subscribers...

Do you know if you ACTUALLY need the 50GB plan, rather than the 5GB free service???

I've had a two week "battle" with Apple after I noticed my iCloud storage was 5.1GB, so I did a MEGA MEGA MEGA purge of emails and it went down to 4.4GB. I estimated my true storage was less than 100MB!!

Apple FINALLY sorted it out and my storage went down to 16MB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I deduce, therefor, that I was probably using 700MB tops! I've been paying for their monthly 50GB plan for pretty much a decade, and not needed it!!!

Most folk would take the storage readout as fact and have no choice but to pay for the bigger plan! I wonder if there's a bigger picture to be seen here. 🤔

@81732bit It makes me wonder. The thing is, when a user has 1000s of emails, plus photos and docs, it's quite plausible that it's multiple GBs... but could in actual fact be a tenth or a hundredth of that. Who are we to question?

This reminds me of last year when a "Police Dog Unit" van forced me off the road when I was cycling as he overtook me with ZERO room. I went to the nearest police station and tried to report the incident to the two officers behind the reception glass. They told me to leave and use the public phone outside instead!!! They point-blank utterly refused to listen to me.

@SharkaBytes Coooool! It's pretty good in my early testing. Keyboard is difficult and doesn't make use of available space of lower screen. Also actual display scaling is a little rough with zero antialiasing. But it's still very nice. File management is nice and easy.

Updated 20 column MODE 5 version with slightly better ASCII choices for NAV/TOR helpers, Record of Galaxy & LRS guides. Needless to say, it looks waaaaay better on a real CRT telly, as God intended.

Super Star Trek updated with a unified source code for , and ! Colour codes (where appropriate) have been reimplemented but embedded into actual text variables so speed is waaaaay better.
