Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta’s platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Threads) are a threat to the existence of humanity; they must be completely eliminated from this world for the safety of all of humanity.
@colinstu The only reason I'm still on Facebook is because of a lot of my friends who are effectively trapped there. I would have left permanently if I wanted to; going to try to slowly convince them to move over to Mastodon or Bluesky someday.
Also, any wonder why Zuck has like over 9000 death threats on his head and fears for his life so much that his personal security rivals that of even most heads-of-states?
Private citizens should have no fear of being assassinated if their conscience is clear.
@JeremyMallin@actuallyautistic This, plus I often fear my actions might seem suspicious or strange to people who might not understand us (which is like the overwhelming majority of people out there).
My modest proposal: Failing water companies should go bankrupt, their investors lose everything, their boards and C-suites be fired, and the gov should buy them for £1 and run them as national utilities. Ditto the railways and privatised energy orgs that price-gouged us last 2 winters. Then every statue of Thatcher & her ideological allies should be melted down and turned into commemorative medals to celebrate the day we free ourselves of the stupidity that saw the nations' utilities and housing stock sold to profiteering wideboys.
Outside of reporting on Singapore’s politics they are generally pretty neutral and reliable; even with Singapore politics, while they still tilt pro-government they are often not as biased as that from The Straits Times and other Singapore Press Holdings publications.
