there was a documentary on wheat by zdf or such where they explained how wheat would be sprayed with herbicides right before harvest not to get rid of weeds but to kill the wheat off because you want dead wheat for harvest or something and that really sounds very wrong to me (more relevant to canada I imagine because of colder weather so less likely to naturally die in time)

for more context: not of people (that would be general privacy laws i'd imagine), but of trains or advertisements or whatever else you encounter. but naturally, regulation might not be that precise.
@grillchen yeah they are/do, but apparently using headphones prevents the shutter sound in some models (there are other ways to circumvent it as well). also i dont think trains wear skirts and would mind
