So Bridgy Fed is now up in beta.

It's an AT Protocol/ActivityPub bridge, so you can follow Bluesky accounts from the Fediverse.

However it's opt-in, so you need to follow @bsky.brid.gy@bsky.brid.gy to be visible on Bluesky, which unfortunately breaks the concept of federation. Same on Bluesky's side.

Boosts seems not to be visible unless the boosted accounts also opt-in for the bridge.

Forgot something. Since bridgy use screen names for @ instead of unique identifiers, that means if your AT proto follows change their @, you will lose your follow link to them.

But really, that's an issue on the Fediverse side.

    Still checking why chiptunes sound bad on the Apple II Mockingboard and we have a pretty good idea of the root cause right now.

    We're waiting for a specific board in the following days to make a final check, but we may bring bad news for some people out there.

    Trying to fix a Unidisk drive I've just got. The loading mechanism was completely stuck. The famous faulty eject gear seemed fine but broke as soon as I touched it... I don't have any spare, so I need to find one before going further.

    (The Unidisk is a 3"1/2 floppy drive for Apple II that uses an internal Macintosh drive with an adapter card)

    Oh tiens, dingue, il semblerait que le nouveau réseau social trop bien qui fonctionnait super simplement avec des invitations (pour se sentir premium en les distribuant et en les recevant) et auquel il manque plein de fonctionnalités mais c'est pas grave contrairement à Mastodon qui est trop compliqué™, et puis c'est créé par le même mec qui a fait Twitter mais tranquille promis y'aura pas les mêmes défauts

    bah en fait ça se passe pas si bien que prévu et le cofondateur s'est déjà tiré.

    @Kalytis @nextinpact il n’y a pas vraiment de rapport, il s’était déjà désengagé de Bluesky avant même son ouverture en beta. Lui il est à fond sur nostr. Je pense pas qu’il faille chercher une logique chez les milliardaires.

    Et le système d’invitation était là pour éviter que l’infra ne s’effondre, au départ ça ne tournait que sur un seul serveur.

    @jwildeboer My 0.02$:

    • Mastodon did this with ActivityPub multiple times and actually act like it owns ActivityPub
    • Some extended features of other software in the Fediverse are not supported by ActivityPub and Mastodon and then, don't show
    • Some major instances on the Fediverse are already ad-supported, this is the case for example with Misskey.io.

    @blind_mapmaker Bonesborough => Osville (nom aussi utilisé dans la série).
    Pour le reste... mon hypothèse c'est que "La maison de la chouette" et "Le manoir de la chouette" était peut-être déjà déposés en français.

    Edalyn Clawthorne s'appelle aussi Edalyn Griffépine en VF... en tout cas au début :)

    Au début j'avais galéré pour trouver la série sur Disney+ justement parce que "The Owl House" ne renvoyait aucun résultat (vu que le service est mal foutu).
