Shitty bike racks: not only are they inaccessible and generally a waste of space - they also often scratch the paint on your bike. Never seen staple racks with sharp edges, but wheelbenders and other types? Yep.

@Andres4NY I scratched the paint on my Brand New Bike trying to figure out how to use the shitty upright racks at work. The knobs on the ends of those transverse bars have sharp edges! My bike has plenty of other scratches now, but I’m still mad about this.

@sarahtaber Pellagra (niacin deficiency due to extremely limited mostly cornmeal-based diet) was also a massive problem in the US in the early 1900s. It was essentially eliminated when flour and bread started to be fortified with niacin during WW2.
