generalpotato,

Awww man, we need a r/hydrohomies replacement in Lemmy. c/hydrohomies anyone that wants to mod it?

generalpotato,

Awesome! Thanks!

generalpotato,

Right? There’s a replacement. The person that responded to me posted the community.

generalpotato,

Are the Euro’s supposed to be Modric’s last app for Croatia?

generalpotato,

Gah, Lemmy is being a bit buggy. Luka is one of my GOATs. Glad to see he might come on as an assistant coach! Man City was on a roll this year, but watching Luka do his thing in RMA was awesome as usual.

generalpotato,

Exactly. There is no winning here, but at a minimum, another corner of the internet grows that isn't controlled by a singular entity. That should be real goal along with moving away from Reddit.

generalpotato,

I did that for a few that I'm interested in and got downvoted immediately. There's definitely some bot like activity trying to flood content/organic growth on the communities polling/figuring out what's next, so that users would flock back. They are also pushing back on alternatives when a good ol person would be just curious/happy/relieved that there's some semblance of carry-over away from Reddit.

generalpotato,

On paper that looked like it should have cancelled.

Is it me or is SF6 a bit more stringent with cancels? Maybe it’s a SF6 Ryu thing.

generalpotato,

Yep, following this thread, I went and experimented with the cancel color tool and played around with it. SF6 def feels more stringent. I don’t remember Third Strike being this way, which was the last SF I truly paid attention to. I’ve been playing KOF on and off and coming back to SF has been an adjustment. That + picking up a stick this time around has me second guessing all sorts of stuff. Haha

generalpotato,

Exactly. Ok sure, so somebody said something either not popular or a bit stupid, but “filtering” them out is equally stupid, if not more. You promote echo chambers that way.

Apple M2 Ultra (24 core) outperforms $3,299 AMD Threadripper 5979WX (32 core) (lemmy.pt)

This means that the $3,999 Mac Studio configuration with this chip outperforms the $3,299 super high end CPU offered by AMD - and we’re comparing a whole computer to just a processor without motherboard, memory or graphics card here. A very compelling desktop offering for pro users!...

generalpotato,

That is incredible. I have an M1 Ultra and love it for what I use it for.

generalpotato,

What?! There’s a new season!? That’s amazing!!

generalpotato,

As an “older” person, not afraid of the jank, I LOVE this view and subscribe to it whole heartedly!

generalpotato,

I mean, 2024 isn't that far away. It’s pretty clear who he’s pandering to in the name of “free speech” or “townsquare of the internet” or whatever shitty rationalization he uses to explains his nutty behavior.
