@astro_jcm I absolutely love that episode, along with the fifth race episode in S2. is still one of my favorite series I love to rewatch every now few years.

If you're using the min/max helper https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/min_max/ to combine multiple sensors in to one and getting the max, the helper sensor has an attribute: max_entity_id.

Maybe you can use that sensor in the trigger (and maybe condition if needed) and simply compare max_entity_id: sensor.landing_env_temperature so it fires when that sensor is the one reporting the max? Not sure what it'll do if multiple sensors have the same value though.
