okay so installing pipewire-pulse fixed the output audio, but the mics are still not working. (they work in chrome tho)

okay i think it might have been the line [ -z "$PULSE_SERVER" ] && export PULSE_SERVER=tcp:127.0.0.1 in my bashrc....
i have no idea why i put it there, but tcp:127.0.0.1 looks like such a correct value for the PULSE_SERVER right next to DISPLAY ​:neocat_o_o:​ (it is not correct tho)

but like, if you're going thru so much trouble to make streaming work, might as well use zoom or something. zoom has open source alternatives, right??

@inflictedgolf38 @ChloeCat but like, from a technological perspective that's the same, no? if we are trying to solve a single shot problem of a game stream being broken, then we can use literally any software that allows to stream video.

but if we are talking about like the convince of having that in the same app as all your other social stuff, then yes it's a hard thing to solve.
