If I want to piddle around with programming, what is good to learn?

I was thinking swift to do cheezy apps but what are other options that are fun?

(I know the basics you’d learn in 3 years of shitty high school CS)

Also, that is free and doable on Mac)

@FlockOfCats Python as a good all around Language.

JavaScript because it runs everything and is probably the easiest to get into (just need a browser, any browser)

Everything else is a never ending discussion:
Rust: hardcore C
C: old and will be there forever
Swift: if you are a MacPerson
PHP: everyone thinks its bad, but it is really good and used almost everywhere
C++: Objects on Objects
Elixir/Haskell/etc: brain melt, but really reliable
every-thing-else: There is documentation online!

    @MonaApp can we get a better highlight or info what the active account is on multiple accounts. Currently there is no highlight in the accounts list not a way to add eg Hostname to the icon on top
