I've started reading Terry Pratchett's Truckers to my kids at bedtime. I've never read any of his Nome books before, but of course they're as much of a delight as the Discworld series.
Throwback to building big speakers in 2011-12 and hiring them out to bass nights... Sometimes I miss the way the serious bottom end would vibrate my entire body, but on the plus side I get a lot more sleep these days.
@heapy You might be hearing hardtekk, which is more or less the latest iteration. Not as fast as OG schranz, but unlike the following iteration of hardtechno has harder kickdrums to make up for the lower BPM.
Honestly, I'm kinda confused by why it's now becoming bigger, seeing as I was around for the genre foundation 10-15 years ago and expected it to go through the roof back then.
