Don’t get scared. Even when you f*ck up the most you can just wipe out the theme related files from your home folder and start from scratch. GNOME is probably the least customizable, among DEs KDE, XFCE, LXDE, MATE, they all work well, or you could also try tiling wms or classic wms like fvwm…
How authentic are forums like these actually? With the rise of AI chatbots, internet interaction feels more fake than ever before. Why should I post here my opinions and thoughts, share articles etc. when probably most of you are just chatbots?
I've been using Opera for a few years now and I've been enjoying its features, UI and everything. However, I (surprisingly to me) haven't noticed many people mentioning it. Also, when I was on Reddit and mentioned that I use it I got downvoted which left me somewhat confused haha....
It has been awesome until 2013 when they decided to make their browser a skin on top of Chromium. Now they had more UI revamps and it doesn’t work or feel like Opera at all. I tried using it sometimes ago and now they even got those weird huge buttons…
Does it make a difference which one I use? I am using an old phone (~5 years old). Currently using liftoff! and connect. Feel like my phone is dying a lot quicker since I switched from using infinity for reddit a month or so ago
i’m using mlmym using the browser… I have a very low end (in today’s world) MSM8974-based 2013 phone with an Android 11 custom rom and wefwef or jerboa is too much for it.
For years, I’ve gotten by with a desktop at home running Arch and a work laptop running Kubuntu. Now I want a laptop that’s not owned by my job, so that I can use a computer outside the house and not have my workplace own the IP rights of whatever I do on it. My workload is basically just going to be emacs and web browsing,...
OK So I just tried this on my iPhone 5s, iOS 12.5.5, jailbroken using unc0ver. I installed the deb file from Github releases (couldn’t install from repo, says 404) and installed the jetsam patch, removed it, rebooted, launched mini browser but it does not work. When I start the app, the address bar shows something weird like “hts/wbi.r/%00%00%00%00%00%…” and the screen remains white, the progress bar loads(?) and stops when it reaches the end of the screen, even when I enter another URL and attempt to connect I get nothing on the screen, and the address bar text changes but it’s still weird. (For example if I enter old.reddit.com it changes to “hts/odrdi.o/o%00%02%00%18%00…” and in some cases while the progress bar loads the address bar suddenly empties and the progress bar disappears)
Awesome. In pmOS there are issues related to the GPU like not being able to turn the screen off, or X11 not working (only wayland), is there a status overview or list of nonworking features?
Wonderful. Heh, my reply’s MUCH late but… How’s Phosh running without GPU accel? I’m charging my hammerhead again to try Mobian instead, hope its easy :)
how can I customise my Ubuntu theme without breaking anything??
