It's great to hear the IRS has "plans" to crack down on millionaires cheating on their taxes, but it makes me wonder, WTF were we paying them to do before that report came out? Why should that even be a newsworthy item? I'm sure the answers are probably obvious (and yes, I know the rich have armies of lawyers who make such enforcing tax law long and expensive) but once in awhile I'd like to hear about heads rolling at the IRS for not doing their jobs.
