Hello everyone. With more than 15k subscribers, I’m sure the Apple community has some great experiences to share with others. My question this week is, “What was the most clever way you’ve ever used an Apple product to solve a problem?”
I’m pretty pleased with my automation that plays BBC 6Music on my iPhone at a set time each morning (as a wake up alarm) then automatically sends the audio to my HopePod mini and sets the volume level. It’s a nice way to wake up to the radio each day.
I do not need to do photo editing or anything like that. I need to be able to make graphics for my business’ social media, and to display on my in store monitors. I get marketing graphics from different publishers whose products i sell, and i need to be able to add my business name and other info....
I want to make a flipbook to animate a stick-man as a gift. I want it to be a hardcopy (not online) but I am okay with making it online and printing it. An online tool may even be preferable since I don’t have drawing skills or any drawing material, this is gonna be a first for me. Do you have any advice on which kind of pen...
For the physical version the only thing I’d recommend is making sure all your pieces of paper are the same size. Thinner paper (100gsm or less) will be easier to flip but the thinner you go the worse the drawing surface.
Digital-wise you could give flipanim.com a go. It’s pretty easy to use and emulates the physical construction of a hand made flip book nicely.
Spark is pretty good. Has a nice MacOS and iOS app. I like the behaviour of swiping your email as “done” to make it disappear and keep your inbox clean. This is different from moving read email to a folder. You can set the default view of your inbox to only see email that have not been marked as “done”. Search is good too.

Keyword artist , or band/group name. I’m not looking for a genre, I want to search artists. Tell me about someone you like listening to....
