Can you recommend a good fediverse instance? I need an instance that will allow me to write more than 500 characters and allow me to see toots from other instances that are older than two days. I find mstdn.science too restrictive for what I want here.

I was trying a number of #Evernote alternatives and keep coming back to #Evernote. I like #Amplenote, but it is not mature enough and handles poorly attachments, pdfs etc.

My habit of scanning important documents into #Evernote just paid off.
While on holiday in Poland, we ran out of medicine for my daughter. A doctor was only able to give us a prescription if we could show him her medical records, which luckily I had long since scanned into Evernote.

Due to my new position, I am interacting a lot with Ukrainian #fusion scientists. After today's meeting, I was heartbroken and in awe of the heroism of the Ukrainian scientists who are repairing their reactor damaged by Russian aggression. This was in one of the slides.

I used to buy books at Amazon, but now I completely stopped doing it. The beauty of browsing books in a local bookstore is that you are not controlled by algorithms. I bought already quite a few books, which I discovered randomly in a bookstore. I almost always enjoyed them.

I’ve found rather unusual house number. The street is not infinite so I guess you need to approach ♾️ asymptotically. :-)
