I always take my dog out to urinate before I feed him his dinner.

We just made him a new pot of food for the next 5 days and it's been sitting on the stove cooling off.

Dax (my dog) is having a hard time resisting the smell the hungrier he gets, so he decided to LIE TO ME and tell me that he had to go out for an "emergency" walk.

So I took him out, but all he did was urinate and rush back to the door. When he got back, he stood in front of his empty food bowl beckoning me.

IT'S NOT TIME YET!

@Mrfunkedude I went out for pizza and the waitress seemed to be having a rough day. I offered her one of the stickers of my art that I carry around just for the sake of sharing them. She got very excited and her mood lifted a fair bit. Was nice to see!

Ngl, I never thought I'd have a boss that I could say 'hey I'm doing serious therapy and it's cut me down to my core and I don't know how to do anything right now, even when we're on a deadline.'
And him answer with 'No, I get it. You're building yourself up from scratch in a new and healthy way. Take time off and you'll come back better and than before.'

I broke down crying yesterday because I really miss doing fun things.

I miss my bunny gardening game, my Steam Deck games, the climbing Jusant game.

I miss being able to read a book and watch a TV show.

My cognition is so bad, that I can’t do anything fun. I’m stuck on the couch playing FarmVille all day, and only doing bare minimum business work.

So I emailed my psych about an ADHD assessment. He said to schedule one for June when he returns to work. :) Then we can get me on ADHD meds.

The place my daughter has been working at for over 2 years has been slowly reducing her hours to 8 a week. They even tried to split that into two days at 4 hours each.

She's never liked the job. She's always had a hard time working and dealing with the public but she's pushed herself to keep going because she doesn't like being a "quitter".

I told her to just quit. It's not worth her time and she'll be starting community college twice a week anyway this summer.

It's hard for her regardless.

I'm sorry, but none of these series based on video games will ever truly capture the essence of the game until we see an episode where it just stops half way through and it forces you to start from the beginning or just crashes entirely and you can't watch the episode until they "fix the bug" in the next episode that they release.
