There's part of me that thinks potentially Paula Vennells wasn't malicious, simply grossly incompetent, because that tallies with a lot of the business leaders I've come across.
Good at climbing the ladder, rubbish at actually running anything.
The ewes round our house are getting pretty tired of the lambs and the lambs are obviously very hungry, so for twenty hours a day from 4am to midnight it's constantly loud cries of BBBEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNN everywhere, all day. Which is especially annoying when your name happens to be Ben.
It's the 17th of May and that means it's the day Scotland celebrates the very greatest day of our shared history with our neighbours across the North Sea.
Having to sign up for another social / chat app (the yellow one) because oldest wants to use it. Refuse to give the app access to my contacts and it then asks repeatedly for access, and of course it recommends loads of people on my contact list to connect with, since they've already sold me out. What a time to be alive.
@jbenjamint I was on that app for similar reasons (my kid was at university and she wouldn't text me but used it to share parts of her life).
Anyway, not only had parts of my social graph already sold me out, the number of childless men (who I might have once dated as an adult at some point) was actually disturbing...
Interesting coming from someone who notoriously spent a chunk of the 90s in Russia, leading to whistleblower allegations and formal questions from Labour about his security clearance...👀
