In case people missed it, publishers using AI for book covers: https://www.themarysue.com/tor-faces-major-backlash-for-purchasing-ai-art-for-upcoming-novel-from-bestselling-auth/

Tor claims it was an accident, but it seems likely that a) it wasn't and b) other companies will be purposely following suit.

If folks are signing contracts, it's definitely worth thinking about a "no AI" clause.

    @jakob @atomicpoet Right. I was kind of hoping to be able to somehow "link" them, at least in this instance, since it seems redundant to have multiple fedi accounts when the content for one can show in federated feeds (sometimes). Thanks for your reply!
