Prélude en mi mineur, Chopin

Pour l'instant j'arrive à suivre le rhythme des cours, je me demande jusqu'où je peux aller !

je me base sur les grades RCM, a priori j'arrive à jouer les trucs de grade 6 et 7 sans trop transpirer, en quelques semaines. (ça c'est 7)

Le Clair de lune de Debussy c'est grade 10, il m'a fallu des mois, et là il faudrait le retravailler.

La Cathédrale Engloutie c'est 11, et je ne sais pas le jouer "correctement"

New music from me, first installment of solo bits I've been doing.

The track is an expression of grief of sorts, thinking of family in Lebanon. I'd describe it as dark, brooding, industrial, trip hop. I drew the cover myself with my pencil.

@alter_unicorn j'ai fait un mix d'un enregistrement live d'un 4tet d'impro libre, et l'artiste est content, il a dit "wow super travail, j'ai l'impression d'écouter un disque".

il a aussi dit "j'ai tout ré-écouté sur ma chêne Hi-Fi", f- non native French speakers

il a aussi dit "gnagnagna trop de reverb", mais c'est une situation normale entre un musicien et un ingé-son, du coup ça valide quand même mon taf :)

If you want some ideas, maybe a good old dub wise dotted 8th note delay on the snare or something, with some time variation, to give some rhythmic contrast.

My Jedi master Renaud Millet-Lacombe, recording and mixing Maalem Brahim El Belkani, voice, guembri ; Maalem Aziz Errachidi, voice, guembri ; Baba Konaté, percussions ; Abdelkbir Chérif, percussions.

I was lucky enough to witness parts of the mixing process, I even fell asleep on this while I was in the process of making my piano solo
