This is what I’ve been pointing out all along… Say what you want about Biden funding Israel, Trump is actively worse.

And no, Jill Stein or Cornell West are not viable alternatives.

Everything I hate about gaming, thanks!

Trump-allied election groups burned through millions with no evidence of widespread fraud (www.cnbc.com)

Another problem that doomed some of the groups was their failure to secure any fundraising help from Trump, the de facto leader of the Republican Party, who remains the chief promoter of false claims of widespread voter fraud in the United States.

The people claiming fraud have no idea how vote by mail works.

Each ballot has a voter signature.

The signature is matched to the voter registration.

So the argument that millions of Chinese ballots printed on bamboo? Bullshit. They would have to match the signatures of millions of voters. That did not happen.

If duplicate ballots are returned, that’s detected and flagged. The voter gets notified there’s a problem. Again, did not happen.

The 2,000 Mules nonsense? It’s totally allowed for one person to drop off multiple ballots. Why? Again, because of signature verification. Dropping off multiple ballots proves nothing.

Somebody convinced her she wasn’t going to win?

jordanlund,

Why would Hillary be giving pointers to Harris? She was never VP.

jordanlund,

Pretty much what I was thinking…

jordanlund,
@jordanlund@lemmy.world avatar

Such an awful choice for VP, but it makes more sense now.

Did you ever see this?

It would be hilarious if he endorsed Biden, but I don’t see that happening.

jordanlund,
@jordanlund@lemmy.world avatar

I don’t think it would influence anyone, but rather it would be a statement on how Biden always considered him a friend.

Not sure this qualifies as “World News”, it’s more “News” or “Technology”.

But since the Meta platforms ARE more heavily used outside the United States, there is just enough of a thread there to keep it. ;)

jordanlund,
@jordanlund@lemmy.world avatar

Well, they can access the Internet to get to Meta, they just don’t do much beyond that.

It’s like the old AOL days, if you can get to AOL, you can do more than JUST AOL.

There may be a great many things that I’m totally incompetent at and I just have no clue how bad I am.

Interesting story, but your link just goes to;

It looks like something is broken.

Good for you! We’re a vote by mail state so I bought a whole roll of them to hand out. LOL.

Just remember to vote for a candidate that counts in November! ;)

So as someone who uses an electric wheelchair for distances, this looks like a NIGHTMARE.

There is no back support to speak of, so you’ll be in pain in 20 minutes.

You steer by shifting your weight, so if you move because you’re stiffening up, you’ll send the chair off course.

The little caster wheels on the bottom will get stuck on every rock, pebble, texture change, and pavement imperfection.

They might want to partner with people who actually NEED AND USE chairs on a daily basis.
